CZ-111111** is a synth for SynC Modular designed starting from a CASIO CZ-101 emulation project.
**(this is an unfinished prerelease, the full CZ-111111 will have a lot more features)
Similar to CASIO CZ series is the 2 "line" voice architecture :
in CZ-111111 lines can be played as: 1, 2, 1+2', 1+1', ring 1+2', ring 1+1'.
note: 2'=2 but marked with ' in 1+2' expression since 2 can be detuned.
1' can be detuned in 1+1' even though with different result from 1+2'. This is a CZ-111111 unique features, not the same as in the CASIO CZ series.DCO controls the pitch of the voice with a 8-step envelope. Max lenght 80 seconds, Max range 1 octave.
DCW controls one of 6 different waveforms possible: square, saw, synced white noise and the same three with adjustable resonance and cutoff frequency of 2-pole low pass filter.
The DCW 8-step envelope varies between a sine wave (DCW level 0) and the 'full' waveform (DCW level Max). Morphing the output waveform from a sine to the 'full' waveform you have selected.
The morhing is simply implemented as: y[t] = f[t] -M*a[t] where f[t] is the sine , a[t] is the selected waveform, M is the morphing factor and y[t] the ouput.
DCA acts on amplitude like the classic ADSR module does, but with a 8-step envelope.

This is not exactly the same as the CASIO CZ series envelope, just note that. Here is how mine works:
Rn Knob range: 0.001 to 10 seconds.
You can set the SS point at any step of the envelope, when you set SS=n (n = a step from 1 to 8), Ln will be the sustain level.
In DCA L1 is usually set to zero, otherwise you may hear a click.
In DCW you may need in some case to let an high level till the end of the sound, since the 8-stage envelope always closes to zero to the end, you have to make the DCW last longer than the DCA, setting high Rn (e.g. n=6,7,8) values, so sound (amplitude) ends before morphing (DCW) has got the waveform to sine shape.
In DCO all L1 . . 8 to max keep the tune 1 octave up.

Note: this is not freeware, it's PRESETWARE. It means that if you're gonna use it to make music you have to send me (or upload to the file area of http://www.onelist.com/community/syncmodular ) a .smp file for CZ-111111 , with at least 5 presets. In this way you will also receive the full CZ-111111 version when released.
